Heartland's Disability Support Services (DSS) is here to help ensure you have equal access to the college's programs, services and activities.

What do we do?

We equip students having documented disabilities with the resources and accommodations that may help them reach their educational goals. Take a look at some possible resources.

How do I qualify?

After completing the enrollment process, submit the required documentation followed by the Disability Support Intake Process.

  1. Apply to Heartland
  2. Submit required documentation of a physical or mental impairment, which substantially limits one or more of your major life functions
  3. Complete Disability Support Intake Process

When should I apply?

Apply as early as possible. It may take as much as four to six weeks to provide some accommodations.
